Terms of Service
Last updated: May 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Shepherd website at shepherd.sh (the “Service”), operated by Pi Music Group (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Shepherd is the official online store of Pi Music Group, an independent electronic music record label. We sell digital music tracks (MP3, FLAC, WAV) released by our label, for which Pi Music Group owns the master recording rights or holds exclusive distribution rights. Pi Music Group is the sole seller of every product offered on the Service. Shepherd is not a marketplace and does not allow third-party sellers, artists, or labels to list, distribute, or sell their products through the Service. We may also offer related features such as artist pages, charts, and curated collections drawn from our own catalog.
3. Account Registration
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Purchases and Licensing
When you purchase a track on Shepherd, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and listen to the track for private, non-commercial use. You do not acquire ownership of the underlying composition or sound recording. Redistribution, resale, or public performance of purchased tracks is prohibited unless expressly authorized.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in US dollars and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method.
6. Intellectual Property
All music sold on Shepherd is owned by Pi Music Group, which holds the master recording rights or exclusive distribution rights for every track in our catalog. All other content on Shepherd, including artwork, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Pi Music Group or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; (d) upload, share, or transmit any harmful or infringing content; or (e) use automated means to scrape or access the Service without our permission.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pi Music Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
